Gregory Chocklett is “Tarheel Born and Tarheel Bred,” a native of Charlotte, North Carolina. He graduated from South Mecklenburg High School, lettering in football and tennis. After completing college and law school at UNC Chapel Hill, he passed the bar exams for both North and South Carolina and began his practice at a law firm in Charleston, South Carolina.

Later, after a three-month adventure as a missionary in Haiti, Greg returned to North Carolina and settled in the capital city of Raleigh. He became an associate at the Law Office of Theodore A. Nodell, where his experience in civil and commercial litigation was fostered.

Greg then began the next big adventures of his life. After getting married, he surprised his bride by announcing his decision to form his own practice only a few months after the wedding. The Law Offices of Gregory P. Chocklett were born, followed by a son and daughter a few years later. Greg’s wife joined him at the practice in 2005.

Greg enjoys golf, vegetable gardening, landscaping, tennis, bicycling, reading, and music. He is a resting elder and deacon at his church and is involved with missions, choir, and education.
